Distributor Training
Dencar Distributor / Installer Training Recap
Dencar routinely hosts distributor and installer training at our Akron, Ohio, headquarters—an in-depth, hands-on session built to help partner teams install faster, troubleshoot smarter, and support smoother site turn-ups.
The course walks through the practical realities of a Dencar deployment, from commercial-grade network setup to equipment interfaces and site-level applications. Partners review what “right” looks like at install—then ties it directly to what Dencar needs to successfully schedule and complete turn-up support.
Course highlights included:
- Commercial-grade network setup: rack components, best practices for cable runs, and why the network sheet is critical for the jobsite (and must be protected).
- Sealevel interface (I/O): how Dencar converts data communication to I/O, what the status lights should show, inputs/outputs, and signaling approaches (including what’s in testing).
- Pay stations & hardware overview: key differences across models (S2, EP21, Eco13, EP13, Revive Series, QR Pay Station, Mobile Wallet Kiosk), plus related install considerations.
- Supporting devices & integrations: relay needs in certain I/O scenarios, LPR camera use for fraud mitigation (not wash activation), gate installation/programming considerations, and RFID setup notes.
- Site-level applications: overview of the Customer Management Portal (CMP), how to access the CMP and Control Console on-site, and the importance of written approval for access.
- Pre–turn-up checklist: what must be verified (Sealevel comm light behavior, pay station access, camera capture, wash selection/price confirmation) before a turn-up can be scheduled.
Distributor training is part of how we scale partner success: fewer install surprises, cleaner turn-ups, and a more consistent customer experience across every location.
