2026-06 1.15 Release Notes

We have two significant release updates for 2026.  The 1.15 release will be pushed to Production today.  We have been running live on Staging (United Auto Wash sites) for the past ~2 months while finalizing updates.  The following updates will be available either immediately within the CMP or via controller replacements as appropriate.

Customer Management Portal (CMP)

  • Wash pass ordering can now be set for online and mobile visibility (select Wash Passes then yellow "Order Wash Passes" button top right).
  • All transactions now show a merchant terminal ID.
  • VIA Card can be enabled/disabled at the Wash Pass level (previously it was at the account level).
  • PLACEHOLDER - Initial Text Campaigns are visible, but not enabled yet.  This is foundational work for the upcoming release.
  • Device number now displays for self-serve usage on retail payment and also corrects the indexing for Site Level Membership reporting.
  • The repeating promo retail is locked to 4 digits.
  • Header rows are now included on all exports.
  • Bulk codes previously permitted some duplication.  This has been corrected.
  • The text receipt landing page has been built and is foundational for the upcoming release of Branded Text Receipts.
  • Plate confidence is now shown on export.
  • The CMP auto logout time has been extended.
  • The platform historically required globally unique email addresses for Consumers.  This restriction has been lifted.
  • Adding a vehicle flow has been improved in the CMP admin.
  • RFID codes are now visible from the mobile browser view.
  • RFID tag threshold properly sets now.
  • A filter was added to prevent RFID duplicates when using the import tool.
  • When a vehicle is deleted or a pass expires, the RFID association will automatically remove permitting the immediate reassignment of the RFID tag.
  • The RFID link that takes you directly to the vehicle is now functioning.
  • Obfuscated credit card data or token data is now included on every transaction detail page.
  • The consumer deletion flow has been updated to minimize accidental deletions when working as admin.
  • Reporting calculations shown on the home page of the CMP by selecting "Description List" in the top right.
  • A favorite site is no longer required to be set when charging a card in the CMP.
  • The token field label in the CMP has been updated to say, "Credit Card Token".
  • Removed the range and kept a minimum value of 0 on the license plate failure count on the consumer edit page.
  • Added a field to the consumer details to show if a token is on file.
  • PLACEHOLDER - Added placeholder for attendant tracking of wash pass sales at a kiosk.  Foundational for upcoming release.
  • Improved transactions filtering response time.
  • All URLs are now being sent at the beginning of the text message so URLs don't get cut between text segments.
  • Improved navigation flow when selecting "multiple passes" button.
  • Remove limit on uses of online promos.
  • Added a double confirmation with a modal before a Wash Pass is deleted from the CMP.
  • VIA Guard additions were previously reported as two transactions in the CMP.  This has been consolidated to one.
  • There was a potential error when filtering consumer passes that would incorrectly show duplicate passes.  This has been corrected.
  • Validation errors are now shown in red when creating wash passes or entering consumer data.
  • Filtering transactions by name previously only showed a subset of the transaction base.  All filtered transactions are now presented.
  • VIA Guard exceptions only trigger off Bronze-Platinum wash pass products, now excluding self-serve, vacuum, etc.
  • Non-SVG images are now blocked for upload on the site products.
  • Transactions exports now honor the CMP filters applied prior to export.
  • Exports are now in local time zones.

iOS & Android App

  • The consumer can no longer delete their last vehicle from the app.
  • The explainer video has been moved from YouTube to Vimeo to prevent YouTube's advertisement injection.
  • The VIA Guard modal could get cut off on Android.  Auto scaling was added to prevent this.
  • Android - navigation icons could get cut off.  Auto scaling was added to prevent this.
  • Improved the upgrade option flow and presentation.
  • Tax shown as a line item.
  • Use count decrementing on multi-product wash passes was corrected.
  • The vehicle update flow was corrected.
  • The ability to scan a Mobile Wallet Kiosk and/or QR Pay Station from your phone and activate the car wash was added.  The app previously only activated ancillary wash products.  This is foundational for pay station redundancy and eliminating the requirements for a pay station entirely as the world transitions to mobile centric.  Note: a future app update will eliminate the requirement to select the type of scan (vac, self-serve, air, etc.) and move to a "Scan QR" selection.
  • Note the iOS & Android apps may take another couple days to be fully released by Apple and Google.

Online

  • Manage My Membership is now online accessible.  This can be accessed from any browser (computer, tablet, phone) eliminating the need for the phone app.
  • Online wash pass and gift pass sales corrected the To/From on the receipt.
  • URLs added to text receipt footers now properly redirect.
  • Online pass sales now charge tax if enabled.
  • Online wash pass sales website was cut off at the bottom and has been corrected.

Kiosk / Site Controller / Gas Pump Code Generator

  • Gas pump codes to be shared across sites.
  • Virtual Pay Station application monitoring to power cycle the VPS unit if the Dencar app does not load or gets hung up.  Requires updated site controller and wiring power through the activation relay.
  • A single Site Controller now supports all Site Level Membership products.
  • Site Controller Control Console User Interface updated to show VPS and relay status by product.  Added device level power control for remote restart.  (power wiring must be run through activation relay channel 2)
  • The Site Controller now has buttons for site controller restart and service restart within the Control Console.
  • The Site Controller now auto recovers from a network loss w/o requiring a restart.
  • The Site Controller now monitors for online/offline status.
  • Redundant QR pay station controller and Sealevel can be added to provide complete pay station redundancy via a QR code.
  • The thank you video for a wash pass purchase would occasionally cache on the kiosk and play for retail sales.  This has been corrected.
  • Binary signaling for wash purchases has been added to the admin interface.  This was previously a reserved Dencar administered function.  Binary buy-up signaling is pending an upcoming release.
  • Bulk numeric codes now require a Soft Touch or Touch Free selection when implemented on Select-a-Wash car wash equipment.
  • The Talos control logic was updated to show status on the control console and automate reconnection logic (controller upgrade required).
  • Wash pass code entry for auto washes added to the Virtual Pay Station.
  • Added software interface to HVAC to set the heating/cooling temperatures on the Control Console.  Requires controller upgrade and USB interface plug.
  • Logging on Sealevel 2 for Wash World Apex sites added.
