Designed for unattended car wash environments, the QR Pay Station gives operators a practical new way to modernize wash transactions without the cost or complexity of a full equipment overhaul. The unit is truly plug-and-play and for most can be self-installed. QR Pay Station combines a mobile web experience with dedicated on-site compute and signaling equipment, allowing customers to scan a QR code and complete the transaction on the phone in their hand—no app required. This “replicated pay station” approach also helps eliminate physical access challenges across vehicle types, from low cars to high trucks. And, if customers prefer, they can still directly interact with the unit and pay with their physical credit or debit card. It truly offers the best of both worlds for payment accessibility.
The QR Pay Station is built around two primary applications. First, it can be added alongside an existing non-Dencar pay station, allowing operators to keep current equipment while adding Dencar’s fast-activation membership platform and VIA Guard fraud mitigation protection. Second, it can serve as a complete cashless pay station replacement for sites that want a simpler standalone setup. It also can be installed alongside an existing Dencar pay station as a redundancy solution.
