We’ve been through a few names for this solution, but we’ve officially landed on QR Pay Station for our go-to-market release.

The premise is simple: an ultra-low-cost pay station that includes VIA Guard fraud mitigation and sales-agent technology.

How does it work? It’s easiest if you visualize it—read on.

A couple years ago, some of you may remember we were developing an auto height-adjusting pay station called Right Height. We paused that project once we saw what becomes possible when the QR Pay Station works alongside our Mobile Wallet Kiosk. When a customer can scan a QR code from a low car or a high truck—and the pay station “replicates” to the phone in their hand—the need for any physical height adjustment disappears.

At its core, the QR Pay Station combines:

·         a fully integrated mobile web experience (no app required), and

·         dedicated compute and signaling equipment at your wash.

As we expand the QR Pay Station ecosystem, we expect to add more activation options for bays—including a handheld pay station and a static version of the Mobile Wallet Kiosk.

Today, the QR Pay Station fits two use cases:

1)      Add-on pay station to your existing equipment. If you have a non-Dencar pay station and want Dencar’s fraud-mitigated membership platform, you can keep your existing pay station and add the QR Pay Station alongside it for the full Dencar fraud mitigated membership management experience including VIA Guard.

2)      Complete cashless pay station replacement. The QR Pay Station can also operate as your only pay station. If you just need a simple, cashless setup, install QR Pay Station as the standalone solution. You can also add it next to an existing Dencar pay station for full redundancy.
